The Barbados Boy Scouts Association

The Barbados Boy Scouts Association has offered purposeful development opportunities to Bajan males for more than 100 years. That offering was enhanced by becoming a sub-licensed partner of the Award in 2017. The Scout Association is a key partner for the Award in its efforts to increase the reach of Award programme on the island.

Boy Scouts and Venture Scouts are introduced to the Award as a complimentary programme towards achieving the Chief Scout's Award and Venture Scout Award respectively. By adapting the timelines of their chosen activities for these Awards, they can complete the Bronze and silver Awards in tandem.

The Gold Award is aligned with the development programme of the Queen's Scout Award for Venture Scouts and the Wood Badge for young Leaders
